Shipping Costs

  • Free Shipping EU: For orders over 299 euro (will be shipped with DHL or UPS).
  • Shipping Fee for Smaller Orders EU: For orders under 299 euro se shipping details.

On all order that includes refrigerated goods we have an extra fee for each shipping:

Refrigerated USA and International goods is only shipped on Monday, Tuesdays and Fridays.

Delivery Times

  • Standard Delivery: We aim to deliver your order within 2–4 business days (DHL/UPS) from when your order has been shipped.
  • Handling Time: Orders are typically processed and shipped within 1 business day after the order is received, excluding public holidays.
  • Total Delivery Time: The total delivery time is usually 2–4 business days (DHL/UPS), including handling and shipping.
  • Order Cut-off Time: Place your order before 12:00 PM on weekdays to have it shipped the same day. Orders placed after this time are processed the next business day.

In the event of delays or availability issues, we will contact you promptly.


Delivery Methods

SWEETS BY SVEA partners with reliable shipping providers to ensure your products are delivered on time and in good condition. We use DHL as our standard provider. Delivery options may vary depending on your location, and we reserve the right to choose the shipping provider that best suits your order.


Track Your Order

You can easily and efficiently track your order directly on our website without needing third-party platforms. Visit our tracking page to view the current status of your order.


Incomplete or Incorrect Delivery Address

It is the customer’s responsibility to provide a correct and complete delivery address when placing an order. If an order is returned to us due to an incomplete or incorrect address, an additional shipping fee may be charged to resend the package.


Delivery Delays and Issues

If your delivery is delayed or you encounter any issues receiving your order, please contact our customer service as soon as possible. We work closely with our shipping providers to quickly resolve any delays or problems.

If delivery delays exceed 10 business days beyond the expected delivery time, we offer the option for a refund or a reshipment of your order.


Unclaimed Packages

If a shipment is not collected within the specified time (usually 7 days) and is returned to us, no refund will be issued. As we work with fresh products and items with expiration dates, returned packages cannot be resold or reused once they have been in transit.

By placing an order, the customer accepts responsibility for collecting the shipment within the carrier’s stated time frame. We strongly recommend monitoring tracking information and carrier notifications to avoid unclaimed returns.


Damaged or Missing Packages

If your package is damaged upon delivery or if items are missing, please contact us immediately via email or live chat. We will investigate and resolve the issue by offering a replacement delivery or a refund.


Refrigerated Products 

Refrigerated transport

We offer shipping of refrigerated goods such as sausages, caviar, cheese, pâté, sauces and much more. To ensure quality, this is sent in special Boxes or Thermo bags. We only use DHL Express when we send refrigerated goods due to the transport time.

Packaging and temperature

To minimize temperature increases during transport, all refrigerated goods are packed in insulated Boxes or Thermo keep the goods refrigerated for up to 72 hours.

For deliveries outside the EU, there is a high risk that the transport time will exceed 72 hours due to customs handling, which means that the cooling effect may decrease before the package arrives. This is something we cannot control, and the customer is responsible for.

Limitation of liability

By ordering refrigerated goods, the customer accepts the following conditions:

• We are responsible for the goods being packed correctly with insulation and frozen gel bags and that the products must withstand 72 hours.

• The customer is responsible for checking the condition and temperature of the goods upon delivery.

• No compensation will be paid for goods that are damaged due to transport delays, customs processing or if the recipient was not reachable during the delivery attempt.

• The customer is responsible for checking import regulations for food in the recipient country.


IMPORTANT READ Duties/Taxes

Regarding customs regulations and taxes for the country you wish to order to. Any fees, such as customs duties and taxes, will be paid by the recipient in your own country, and you have your own responsibility as a customer.

Sweetsbysvea.com disclaims all responsibility from the possibility of solving or sending replacement goods if the goods have been seized in customs.

Therefore, it is your final customer/buyer who is liable to pay taxes and customs duties and to keep an eye on any rules regarding this in your country according to their regulations.

Sending back products because of taxes is not acceptable, we will not pay back for products or shipping fees.

If customer do not take out there packages the customs will destroy it and for that takeout a demolition fee.

IMPORTANT READ Out of stock products

Regarding products that is out of stock, we will always ship orders even if some of the products are not available. We will of course refund for the missing items. No orders gets cancelled because of missing products.

REMOTE AREA sparsely populated area, a rural area

If your address is in a remote area or sparsely populated/rural Area we will contact you for a price change. Sweets By Svea can in that case cancel the order and pay back the amount to customer. If you now that you live in an Area like this contact us before ordering for a price request.
