Kockens Natriumbensoat Påse - Sodium Benzoate 20g

Sodium benzoate is a preservative with the chemical formula C₇H₅O₂Na. Benzoic acid naturally occurs in lingonberries and rowanberries, and sodium benzoate is the salt derived from benzoic acid. It is used to protect products from fermentation and can be used in acidic foods such as jams, fruit and vegetable preparations, desserts, dressings, and soups. The recommended dosage is 1 heaping pinch (½ g) per kilogram of finished product.
