Kockens Malen Kummin Burk - Caraway 36g
Caraway is a well-known spice plant that grows across most of Europe. It is a biennial herb, reaching 25–80 cm in height, and blooms from May to June. Like coriander, anise, and cumin, it is primarily the fruit that is used. The caraway fruit is a two-part schizocarp, with each half containing a seed. When used as a spice, these halves are often referred to as "seeds."
Caraway is commonly used in bread, cookies, crackers, sausages, meat dishes, and sauerkraut. It is also used to flavor spiced spirits.
Caraway should not be confused with cumin, as they have completely different flavors.
