Lofbergs Kokkaffe Mellanrost - Boiled Coffee Medium Roast 450g
The flavor is characterized by a light nutty sweetness with hints of pleasant acidity in the aftertaste. This boiled coffee is made from 100% Arabica beans sourced from South and Central America as well as East Africa. The coffee is Rainforest Alliance certified, an independent organization that works to create sustainable livelihoods for coffee farmers and to preserve biodiversity.
A GOOD CUP OF COFFEE:
Boiled coffee has a coarse grind suitable for preparation in a coffee pot. To "boil" coffee, add the ground coffee beans directly to a pot with cold, fresh water. Use about 65g of coffee per liter of water. For the best taste, remember to clean your coffee pot. Heat the coffee until it just simmers without boiling, and let it steep for about 5 minutes. If the coffee boils, some of the delicate aromas are destroyed, and the coffee becomes more bitter. A few drops of cold water in the spout can help settle the grounds.
COFFEE STORAGE:
We recommend storing coffee in a dry, cool, and dark place in its original sealed packaging. The flavor is affected by exposure to oxygen, light, and moisture, which can occur due to temperature changes. An opened package should be used within 10–14 days.
WHEN THE COFFEE IS FINISHED:
For environmental reasons, the aroma-preserving plastic in the packaging is very thin, thanks to the protective paper wrapping. The packaging also contains plastic from renewable resources. Sort the paper as paper packaging and the plastic bag as plastic. Coffee filters and grounds can be sorted as food waste and composted.
