Seltin is a mineral-enriched salt alternative containing 50% sodium chloride, 40% potassium chloride, 10% magnesium salts, and iodine. It can be used just like regular salt for cooking and seasoning, but due to its low sodium content, it is not suitable for curing or preserving food.
